RUSPER MODEL RAILWAY CLUB

Glovers Lane station showing the ‘morse code’ style tappers and bells with 2 sheets of the timetable below. The control panel is on the right.  On the ‘Down’ side or to the left of the picture is a double track main line and a double track branch line to Charlwood. The switch between the 2 tappers allows the signalman to select either main line or branch line when signalling trains to or from Charlwood. The tapper and bell on the right communicate with Russ Hill, the next station ‘Up’ the line (to the right of the picture).

A goods van under grey skies has a fruit van with a yellow coloured pin in tow. The yellow pin tells the signalman the destination for this wagon is Rusper goods yard.
